We celebrated Sam's 1st birthday a few weekends ago. It was kind of an emotional day - thinking back to everything we have gone through in the past year. When she was little we had to get up a few times a night to feed/change her and make sure she was ok. Now she grabs her blanky, says "nigh nigh" and walks to her room when she is ready for bed. Sam has gone from a helpless little peanut to a little girl who believes she can do just about anything. It's been a fun first year!
At her 1 year appointment she weighted 19.5 pounds (25th percentile) and was 28 inches long (also 25th percentile). Not very big but she has a lot of spunk!!
